Visual Pakistan– SEO Growth for a Travel & Culture Blog
VisualPakistan.com is a growing travel and cultural platform dedicated to showcasing the beauty, history, and heritage of Pakistan through compelling visuals and insightful articles. When I began working on this project, the goal was clear — improve organic visibility, increase user engagement, and build a strong digital presence on Google.
Objectives
- Increase organic search impressions and clicks
- Improve content structure and keyword targeting
- Optimize for faster load time and mobile usability

My Key Contributions
Content Audit & Optimization
I started with a comprehensive content audit. Existing articles were optimized for clarity, readability, and SEO. Target keywords were mapped with proper on-page structure (H1, H2s, etc.) to help Google better understand and rank each page.
Keyword Research & Blog Expansion
I researched and introduced new long-tail keywords around trending travel destinations, historical sites, and tourism tips in Pakistan. This helped diversify traffic sources and increased topical relevance.
Technical SEO
To improve crawling and indexing, I:
- Submitted updated XML sitemaps
- Fixed broken internal links
- Improved meta tags (titles/descriptions) for click-throughs
- Implemented schema markup for articles and blog posts
Image & Speed Optimization
As a visually rich platform, image optimization was crucial. I:
- Compressed heavy images
- Implemented lazy loading
